Bubble Blowing Contest

Ages: 3 and older

Objective: Players participate in a Bubble Blowing Contest to see how big or how many bubbles they can blow against the clock.

Players: 3 or more

Materials: store bought bubble soap or dish soap mixed with water, bubble making wands, wrist watch

Rules: This game does work best if you use the bubble soap bought from a store. The best are those small individual containers that come with a bubble wand inside. However, don't be afraid to make your own with whatever you can think off. Dish soap and water make great bubbles when mixed together. For the largest bubble contest try using coat hangers. You just need a large container to hold the soap and water mixture. Once you've figured out a fair system for all players then have players try and blow as many bubbles as they can in 30 seconds. The honour system will have to work here because no one will be able to count all the bubbles. Declare a winner. Next try blowing the biggest bubble but only allow another 30 seconds. This is a little easier to judge and of course the player with the largest bubble wins! Continue playing until everyone has blown enough bubbles or you are out of soap.
