Cake Submission Guidelines

  • Pictures must be of cakes or cupcakes that you or a family member MADE (not purchased).
  • Cake pictures and how-to instructions must be original and not copied from another source.
  • This is supposed to be fun! Perfection is seen through many eyes. Your creativeness in your write-ups and photo arrangement are just as equal than the look of your cake!
  • Please tell us in your own words how you prepared the cake. Where did you inspire the idea? Any cool decorating tips or frosting etiquette that you’d like to share to help make someone else make it themselves. Feel free to include the recipe, or give other information you feel be be valuable.
Your How-to instructions and write-ups are Very important! Please write at least 250 words in order for it to be of some value to other viewers!

Preparing Your Cake Images

Editing and preparing your birthday cake pictures for submission will help us put it on this site faster and make your contribution look better.

Resizing images: Photo submissions are automatically resized when uploaded. With that said, we encourage that photos be cropped and resized ahead of time to ensure the photo to your satisfaction. Photos 400 pixels width are best. Make sure you keep “ratio” in mind and adjust height accordingly.

Cropping your cake photo: Crop your photo so your cake is centered in the middle of the picture.

By submitting your photos and how-to instruction writeups you grant permission to republish, alter and create derivatives in any and all media whatsoever.
