Wiggles Party Supplies and Decorations

  • Use the color theme of blue, red, yellow and purple
  • Hang lots of balloons and streamers
  • Hang a large poster or sketch of the Wiggle in The Big Red Car, also find a large cut out of Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog
  • Use cups, napkins, plates and tablecloth of the Wiggles
  • Decorate with Wiggles toys and stuffed dolls
  • Play the Wiggles Music
  • Inflatable Instruments

The Wiggles Party Games and Activities

  • Red, Red, Purple - Like duck, duck, goose
  • Craft Time - Make your own instruments. Look around your house and be creative. I like to use a large coffee pot for a drum, a Kleenex box and large elastics for a guitar, small water bottles and fill with rice for maracas, cover them with construction paper and let the kids paint them. This would be such a hit with kids who like to craft and make noise.
  • Music Time - Use your newly made instruments and put on a parade. You may also wish to get a tub of made instruments. These will be great extras for the parade, but also amazing to use in your photo booth.
  • The Big Red Car Race - Let the race begin. First set up an obstacle driving course, then after your guests have some practice with driving you can let them race. Use little tikes cars, or tricycles. It would be best if you had one in each color (red, yellow, blue and purple). Race either on a long driveway or in your backyard. Safety is always a first priority so remember to wear helmets.
  • Dorothy the Dinosaur Delights - Make sugar cookies and have your guests decorate them. Have a variety of icing colors, candies and sprinkles.
  • Henry the Octopus - Play the game octopus. One person is it, and stands in the middle of your backyard. When they are ready, they call out “Henry”. Then all the others try to run across the backyard. If caught the runner has to hold hands with the Octopus. The arms grow larger to catch everyone.
  • Pin the Tail on Wags the Dog - Play this game in a similar fashion to pin the tail on the donkey.
  • Captain Feathersword Treasure Hunt - Create a treasure map and clues for your guests to navigate throughout the party zone. At the end of the scavenger hunt, have a treasure box filled with chocolate golden coins.
  • The Wiggles Photo Booth - Dress as your favorite character. Have lots of items to put on that are blue, yellow, red or purple. Hats, boots, shirts, glasses, etc. lots of options.
  • Dance Off - Play the Wiggles and show off your amazing dancing skills. There will inevitably be a lot of hopping.
  • Relax Time - If waiting for pick up time watch the Wiggles

The Wiggles Party Food

  • Have a variety of finger sandwiches, finger foods, simple and easy.
  • Veggie and fruit trays
  • Cheese tray
  • Fishy crackers
  • Down Under Punch - Favorite juice with ginger ale (freeze juice in your ice cube tray this will help keep the punch cool and not water it down)
  • Wiggles Cupcakes - I love cupcakes for this age. Make your own. Ice them with your favorite icing flavor and then dip into sprinkles (blue, yellow, red and purple – of course)
  • Wiggle Color Inspired Cake Pops - Make regular cake pops. Dip in blue, red, yellow and purple melted candy melts. Then sprinkle with subtle sprinkles.
  • Wiggles Cake - Check out your local bulk food stores as they let you rent the cake shapes and have fantastic ideas. Or … place on top a red convertible toy car driving across a road. For the road you can use black / chocolate icing or ground up oreo crackers. On the side of the road use candies that look like rocks. Cut out the Wiggles pictures and paste them onto Popsicle sticks. Have them looking at the car driving past.
  • Colorful Drip Cake - Create a regular round multi-tiered cake. Use a base white icing. Add sprinkles around the bottom of the cake. Then use all the colors of the rainbow to dribble and drip down the cake. At the top have skittles and popping out of the skittles will be different shaped and different sizes of lollipops.

The Wiggles Party Favors

  • Super sized lollipop
  • Playdough
  • Crayons
