Your Beatrix Potter Party will be adored by all. With so many classic illustrated children's stories, this would be a fantastic backdrop for any type of party. Be it a Baby shower, birthday / Peter Rabbit Party. Beatrix Potter’s hope for the future and respect for our environment are values that we wish to aspire towards the young at heart.
Beatrix Potter Invitations
To make homemade Beatrix Potter Party Invitations, on a blank card, draw on the cover a simple sketch of your best Peter Rabbit(with black ink) and if possible color in with water colors paints. Write something suitable like, “You are corduroy invited to a garden party tea”. Inside the invitation hand write the party information.

Beatrix Potter Party Games and Beatrix Potter Birthday Activities
Beatrix’s Bonnet have a selection of sun hats and decorate them with flowers. This will honor Beatrix Potter’s style and the guests can wear them as their party hats.
Mr. MacGregor’s Vegetable Patch a refreshing game of tag – have the guests running with a basket to collect plastic vegetables at the same time have an older child or adult dress as Mr. MacGregor. If they are caught they loose all their vegetables and have to start the race again. Whoever has the most vegetables wins.
Jemima Puddle Ducks’s Egg Race have a scavenger hunt to find Easter eggs. Place a sticker on each child’s hand representing the color of egg that they are aloud to collect. This way all the guests have a chance to find the same number of eggs.
Peter’s Agility Course For example: run through zig zag cones, jump rope three times, crawl through three hula hoops, run around a tire, hop over a bench, do a series of log rolls, and finish by hoping into a hula hoop (watering can) and sit down when finished.
Old Fashion Potato Sack Race I realize that you can buy fun colored potato sack race bags, but for this party I would try to find old fashion burlap bags for the race. The combo of the hats and the bags would make for an amazing photo.
The Meadow the guests would love to go on a short nature walk through a meadow, pick some wild flowers and then walk to a pond to see a frog, fish, and listen to the crickets.
Water Painting make a bookmark or small painting using black felt tip pens and water colors.
