  • Use the colour theme of blues, greens, browns and blacks
  • Hang a Pony Party Birthday Banner
  • Pony Party centerpiece
  • Hang lots of balloons and some Mylar horse balloons
  • Horse tablecloth
  • Theme Horse cups, horse plates, horse napkins, matching colour cutlery
  • Pony party hats
  • Hang Streamers in green and blue
  • Wear Cowboy Hats
  • Create a Saloon setting

Horse Party Games and Activities

  • Horseback Riding Go to a horse riding facility and ride horses
  • Ride the Cowboy Pair up for a race. The smaller person rides the partner (the horse) through an obstacle course and then back to the beginning.
  • Balloon Shoot Have a table set up with some empty cans or bottles stacked in a pyramid. Everyone gets 3 water balloons to throw at the pyramid to try to knock them over.
  • Rope ‘Em Get into two groups (depending on the number of people). Stand facing into a circle. The first person holds a rope and passes it around their backs (alternate between people with the rope front and back of the people) until the rope is all used up. Then the first team out of the ropes is the winner.
  • Branding Get a temporary tattoo, airbrush tattoo or Henna tattoo (East Indian)
  • Horse Shoes Game where you throw the horse shoe and try to get it to land on the maker
  • Horse Pinata or Cowboy boot Pinata
  • Campfire Sing songs, play guitars, roast marshmallows, tell stories
